BRITAIN’S MOST ICONIC HOSTAGE RESCUE MISSION

On 5th May 1980 the Special Air Service Regiment (SAS) was immortalised as its members were broadcast live on national and international television dramatically storming London’s Iranian Embassy and rescuing hostages held at gunpoint by Arab revolutionaries.

Operation Nimrod was a resounding success.

One of the enigmatic black-clad warriors responsible for the triumphant outcome that day was Pete Winner.

The Iranian Embassy presentation gives unprecedented access to the very heart of the action. Audiences will be captivated by Pete Winner’s dynamic and passionate delivery as he explains the key events as they unfolded, from the initial build-up through to the adrenaline fuelled climax on 5th May.
